Pink Lotus Thangka now has a retail outlet based at St Anne’s on sea, Lancashire. Here you will find an ambient and relaxing environment with an authentic Tibetan feel where you can peruse our Tibetan art, crafts and dharma goods at your leisure.
We have a selection of several hundred Thangka’s to suite all tastes and budgets ranging from small affordable Thangka right through to our exquisite master works of art. We have created a special viewing area where you can take the time out to get up and close and examine the intricate detail of some of the finest Thangka paintings the Tibetan Buddhist world has to offer.
Here you can buy quality Buddha statues (Rupas). We have a selection of most deities in our Buddha statue range, in gold, copper/gold and brass.
You can also purchase a wide variety of fabric products made in our Kathmandu workshop, which was established, to ensure the product is to our required quality and specifications and the employees are paid a fair wage. The products include Altar cloths and Cushion covers (both hand-embroidered designs and those made with Varanassi silk), Wall hangings, Door covers, T-Shirts, Prayer flags, Lama bags and more. We also have a wide selection of Prayer mala, and wrist mala.
You can purchase Bhodi seed mala that has been hand made in our Kathmandu workshop using seeds collected from the east of Nepal. We have an extensive range of Tibetan herbal and healing incense of varying qualities, including quality hand made incense made by nuns in Nepali monasteries.
You may also purchase from our wide range of Dharma products, which include Singing bowls (we stock both hand beaten singing bowls and machine made singing bowls), which you are welcome
to try, and listen to their beautiful sounds.
We also have many Prayer wheels, Bell & Dorje, Offering bowls, Butter lamps, and a jewellery collection including bracelets and pendants, and a selection of books on Buddhism and Tibet.
St Annes on sea is situated around 5 miles down the coast from Blackpool.
You are most welcome to come and visit us at our shop between the hours of 10.30 am to 17.30 pm Tuesday to Saturday, (subject to variation). Alternatively you may contact us to arrange a viewing appointment.
